Fused Glass Building Block Molds
Each of these molds is hand-made by our artisans to a detailed product specification. They’re used by glass artists to create a building block charm out of fine or powder glass frit. As they’re hand-made, some variation is to be expected.
These molds are a unique, Glass & Stone Pottery design that produces a textured “building block” with a letter on the front face. We currently offer the 26 capital letters of the Roman alphabet. Each mold produces a finished glass charm about 1” across and 3/16” to ¼” thick on the textured lines, or the same design centered on a 2” round glass disk. Our fully-vitrified stoneware molds are durable and functional, usable for hundreds of firings. Molds are about 2 ¾” across.
Each individual mold is $20, or 6 molds for $100. A full set of all 26 letters is $400. Select the package you’d like to purchase from the drop-down list below, then click “Choose Your Letters” - a form will pop up asking for the letters you’d like. List off the letters you’re interested in - duplicates included - and it’ll be saved with your order information. Once they’re in your cart, you can make changes to the letters you’ve selected by clicking the “Edit Details” link by the item in your cart.
These molds will be made to order.
