Calling the Pacific Northwest my home and having a passion for art and music all my life, I've always looked for the oddities within nature to find beauty. My medium is clay and wood and my creations are born from a mythical place of wonder and fascination. I get my inspiration from the mountains and what might lie within. A creature that is powerful, independent, and fierce, the dragon symbolizes the same fire that lives in my heart. While the mountain is everlasting and unconquerable representing the strength of my will.

Stands a little over 8” tall and 6” from front to back. Has not yet learned to form smoke rings.

This is a hand-sculpted dragon and castle tower by local artist Jamie Olsen. Nearly two feet tall and over 15” across, this piece is made from stoneware clay, hand-carved maple burl wood, and acrylic resin. It’s the perfect showpiece for a fantasy-themed game room or media room - just be careful about letting children and pets get too close. You can never be sure if a dragon is hungry or not.
